Eyelid surgery delivers results that go beyond aesthetics — restoring confidence, clarity, and a more rested you.
Droopy eyelids and under-eye bags can add years to your look. Blepharoplasty removes excess tissue, giving you a naturally rested and youthful appearance.
Severely sagging upper eyelids can obstruct peripheral vision. Upper blepharoplasty lifts the lid to restore a full, unobstructed field of view.
Unlike topical treatments, blepharoplasty delivers structural improvement that can last many years — one of the most enduring anti-aging procedures available.
Treatment can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids, or both — tailored to your anatomy for comprehensive, balanced facial rejuvenation.
Blepharoplasty pairs beautifully with brow lifts, facelifts, and other facial treatments, letting your surgeon address multiple concerns in a single visit.
At Struong Cosmetic, every blepharoplasty is performed by an experienced cosmetic surgeon with a commitment to precision, safety, and natural-looking results.
Upper eyelid blepharoplasty helps remove excess skin that can make the eyes appear heavy, tired, or less defined.
Lower eyelid surgery can reduce the appearance of under-eye bags and puffiness for a smoother, more rested look.
By improving the eyelid contour, blepharoplasty can help create a brighter, more awake appearance while maintaining natural facial balance.
At STRUONG COSMETIC, our team of California Medical board-certified cosmetic surgeons has extensive experience in a variety of cosmetic procedures, including popular options like Botox and Juvederm. They are dedicated to providing you with top-notch skin care and the best possible results from your cosmetic surgery.
How It Works
Blepharoplasty targets loose skin, heaviness, and under-eye puffiness that can make the eyes appear tired or aged. Click any step to learn more.
Step 01
Your surgeon evaluates eyelid anatomy, skin laxity, and goals to create a tailored surgical plan.
Step 02
A precise incision is made within the natural upper eyelid crease, keeping any scar virtually invisible.
Step 03
Excess skin and fat are removed or repositioned. Fine sutures close the incision for a smooth result.
During your consultation, your experienced cosmetic surgeon at Struong Cosmetic will assess the degree of ptosis, skin excess, and fat distribution. Photos are taken, goals are discussed, and a customized surgical plan is created — often combined with a brow assessment for best results.
The incision follows the natural fold of the upper eyelid — a location that naturally conceals any resulting scar. This precise placement allows full access to the underlying tissue while preserving the natural lid architecture.
Excess skin and herniated fat pockets are carefully removed or repositioned. The incision is closed with very fine sutures. Most patients see immediately visible lifting of the upper lid, with full results apparent after swelling subsides in 2–4 weeks.
Step 01
The lower lid is examined for fat herniation, skin laxity, and tear trough depth to guide approach.
Step 02
Incision is placed inside the lower lid or just below the lash line — both minimize visible scarring.
Step 03
Fat is redistributed to fill the tear trough, eliminating shadows and restoring a smooth under-eye.
Lower lid evaluation examines the "snap test" for lid tone, the degree of fat prolapse, skin excess, and the depth of the nasojugal groove. This determines whether a transconjunctival or external approach will deliver the best outcome for you.
The transconjunctival approach (inside the lower lid) leaves no external scar and is ideal when skin removal isn't needed. The subciliary approach runs just below the lash line and is used when skin tightening is also required. Both are routinely performed at Struong Cosmetic.
Rather than simply removing fat — which can create a hollow look — our surgeons reposition it to fill the tear trough groove. This creates a smooth, seamless transition from lower lid to cheek, with long-lasting, natural-looking results.
Step 01
Both upper and lower lids are mapped together for balanced, harmonious rejuvenation of the full eye area.
Step 02
Upper and lower blepharoplasty are performed in the same session — efficient, with one recovery period.
Step 03
The full eye frame is refreshed — upper heaviness lifted, lower puffiness smoothed — for a cohesive result.
Combining both lids requires careful pre-operative planning to ensure the upper and lower results complement each other. Your surgeon assesses proportions, orbital anatomy, and the relationship between lids and brows for a unified, natural outcome.
Performing both procedures together means a single anesthesia event, one surgical fee, and one recovery timeline. It also allows the surgeon to make real-time adjustments to ensure perfect balance between upper and lower results.
The combined approach delivers the most dramatic, cohesive transformation. Patients report looking significantly more rested and youthful — without looking "done." Results typically last 5–10+ years depending on individual aging factors.

Upper blepharoplasty addresses drooping upper eyelids by removing excess skin and fat. Lower blepharoplasty targets under-eye bags and puffiness. Many patients benefit from having both eyelid procedures performed together.
Eyelid surgery incisions are strategically placed in the natural creases of the eyelids (upper) or just below the lash line (lower), making scars virtually invisible once healed.
Swelling and bruising after blepharoplasty peak around day 2–3 and subside within 1–2 weeks. Most patients return to work within 7–10 days, with final results visible in a few months.
