Is CoolPeel painful? What to expect?
Most patients do not find the treatment to be painful, but there may be some discomfort due to the warm sensation. We can offer some topical numbing creams for patients who are apprehensive or have more sensitive skin.
While you may be able to see some positive reactions after your first treatment, most patients with deep wrinkles or bolder scars will require multiple treatments (usually no more than three total). If you do require more than one session, it is recommended to have them spaced two weeks apart.

You may be able to enjoy your new results about a week or so after the redness and swelling goes away, but you should expect your optimal results to be visible within three to six months.

Side effects are rare. Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear flushed, brown-pigmented spots may appear darker may be more visible. You will learn more about side effects during your consultation.

Within a few days, visible results can be seen, but the most noticeable results typically appear after three weeks. Treatment results continue to improve up to three months after treatment.
